Elementary Reconfiguration rolls forward; see what's been happening
Since the Board of Education approved the plan in February, district leaders have met regularly to discuss the many logistical details and questions that must be answered in order to make the change a reality by fall.

The idea, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education Greg Mott said, is to “reimagine and repurpose” the district’s structure and resources to best serve students’ needs amid a challenging financial landscape. The district is taking these measures while preserving positions within each school building and is, in fact, adding staffing.
